Civilization Research: Journal of Islamic Studies (P-ISSN 3025-8731 E-ISSN 3025-7468) is a blind peer-reviewed journal studying Islamic civilization published by Student Rihlah Indonesia. CR is motivated by a lack of Muslim-spiritual values to understand the contribution of Islam to the development of many scientific disciplines for modern civilization. Hence, CR attempts to integrate such kind science disciplines into Islam as a way of life in modern civilization. For this purpose, CR is designed as a unique peer-reviewed open-access online scientific journal that provides an interdisciplinary, national, international, and interfaith forum for scientists from any discipline area. It encourages reflective thinking and progressive working on modern Islamic civilization. CR welcomes theoretical or empirical studies about the application of Islamic and Sharia concepts in many disciplines including social science, economics, politics, natural science and technology, and law.
The journal has published the national articles from edition 1(1) 2022 until 2(2) 2023. To comply with international indexing databases, the journal published the manuscripts in Indonesian, Arabic and English version (Title and Abstract) since edition 3(1) 2024.
The scopes of Civilization Research are: (a) Islamic Economics and Finance, (b) Islamic Politics, Law, and Governance, (c) Islamic Contribution to Science Technology and Art, (d) Islamic Education, Culture, and Social Interaction, (e) Islamic Health System.
