The research aims to assess the effectiveness of such apps in enhancing prayer punctuality and spiritual engagement. Using a quantitative explanatory method, data were gathered from 33 users of apps like Muslim Pro and Al-Quran Indonesia. Results show significant improvement in prayer timeliness (mean: 4.1/5) though the improvement in khusyu’ was more modest (mean: 3.0/5). Key obstacles include poor internet (35%), app errors (30%), and inconsistent alerts (25%). The findings suggest that while digital nudges improve external discipline, they are less effective in fostering inner devotion. This study’s novelty lies in its integration of behavioral nudging with Islamic educational values. It recommends features like offline access and reflective prompts to support both compliance and spiritual depth. These insights offer implications for Islamic app developers and educators aiming to enhance faith-tech experiences.
Walada Paradisa Dhiana Ratu Nabhila Naylazyani Siti Alhafidza Cucu Surahman Copyright (c) 2025 Walada Paradisa, Dhiana Ratu Nabhila, Naylazyani Siti Alhafidhza, Cucu Surahman https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-07-05 2025-07-05 4 2 219 240 10.61630/crjis.v4i2.87 Sharia Policy and Its Impact on Achieving Food Security https://crjis.com/index.php/civilizationresearch/article/view/82
This research aims to demonstrate the validity of Islamic law for all times and places, and to demonstrate the importance of having a guardian who is concerned with managing the affairs of the country, and supervising them in various aspects, and the keenness of Islamic law to preserve human life.I relied in writing this research on the inductive and analytical approach: by inducting and analyzing the legal texts in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and explaining the legal approach to achieving food security. The researcher concluded that Islamic law is capable of addressing the food security crisis, through the management and organization of the guardian of the country’s affairs, and its approach to achieving food security, as work is sacred in Islam, and striving for a livelihood is worship, and the legitimacy of zakat and charity, and the prohibition of usury, monopoly, and everything that may harm society. The researcher recommended that the guardian should personally supervise the achievement of food security, due to its importance in the stability of society, and that there should be special funds to support this sector.
Ibrahim Muhammad fandi Bani Amer Copyright (c) 2025 Ibrahim Muhammad Fandi Bani Amer https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-07-05 2024-07-05 4 2 241 257 10.61630/crjis.v4i2.82 The Influence Of Arabic Literature And Jurisprudence In A Contemporary Period And Sustainable Development https://crjis.com/index.php/civilizationresearch/article/view/89
This paper titled “The influence of Arabic literature and jurisprudence in a contemporary period” shall focus on Arabic literature and his influence, Arabic literature has been categorized into two categories, prose and poetry. On this basis, this paper aims to shed light on the issue of environmental protection in the light of the purified Prophet's Sunnah, and its justifications in this modern era. The researcher used the descriptive approach; This is done by following the scientific materials on the importance of the environmental protection and society on the Islamic perspective, especially with regard to the noble prophetic sayings, which are considered the second source of Islamic law. The focus of this study is to discuss how significance Islam has given towards environmental protection in the light of prophetic traditions. the study concluded that Islam is the only religion that encourages man to protect himself and his environs at the same time without discrimination or prejudice.
Ahmad Garba Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Garba https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-07-05 2025-07-05 4 2 295 310 10.61630/crjis.v4i2.90 The Principal's Strategy In Developing The Leadership Character Of Students at Pondok Pesantren Qur’an And IT Al-Mahir Surakarta https://crjis.com/index.php/civilizationresearch/article/view/99
The principal's strategy in shaping the leadership character of students is very important to prepare a generation of future leaders who are professional and trustworthy. It examines how the Hamidian regime both adopted and reshaped international law—as a regulatory framework and as a strategic bargaining tool to preserve dynastic survival. Drawing on a historical-critical methodology that combines primary-source archives with Ottoman intellectual discourse, this research uncovers the dialectical interaction between the Islamic legal tradition of siyar and modern international-law constructs. Findings reveal a fundamental paradox: Ottoman integration of international norms both signified subordination to European diplomatic standards and served as an adaptive realpolitik strategy amid shifting global geopolitics. By reconstructing Ottoman international relations from a non-Western perspective, the study offers historiographical innovation and yields conceptual insights for contemporary Muslim-majority states formulating foreign policy in the face of enduring hegemonic pressures.
Anisa Fitriani Copyright (c) 2025 Anisa Fitriani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-07-10 2025-07-10 4 2 338 364 10.61630/crjis.v4i2.85
